Divided into four sections, this book describes a journey filled with fun, struggles, commitment, and excitement of being a cheer coach for my tween (and now teen) daughter's competition cheerleading team.This book is a memoir detailing my experiences coaching my daughter and her cheer squad. Coming with absolutely no understanding about cheer or cheer competition, after working so closely with a deeply commited team of girls and coaches, cheer soon became part of my DNA. I love all of these cheerleaders as if they were my own daughters and have learned a ton from them. A collection of memories, experiences, and the stories that I can tell, this is an attempt to get it all down on paper while reflecting on some of the significant lessons that I learned throughout this journey. Cheer has been a great part of my life, and I have no doubt that the past four years will always remain close to my heart as a treasured memory.
