Nestled in the Uinta Mountains of Utah, stands one of the largest branches of The Academy of Sorcerers. A school for those born capable of using magic, and often a home for those abandoned because of that power. Leo, a young sorcerer from The Academy, joins the Kardinal Detective Agency after a long recovery from an accident before his graduation. Growing accustomed to his work, he is given the case for a strange ritual. With the help of a friend from The Academy, Leo investigates with hope of finding out what this ritual was for and who performed it. As the case unfolds, Leo must balance his Heart and Mind in a delicate dance between thought and emotion. Most importantly, he must learn to recognize his desire to be close to his friends, And face his fear of losing them.
