We are not obligated to love everyone, but we should treat all human beings with respect and kindness. After seeing things that didn't sit well with her, Tanya McLean - Logan decided that she wanted to see changes in the world. For that reason, in 2011 she wrote this book after observing how some people were being treated, because they chose to be friends with people who didn't look like them.
Tanya McLean - Logan then decided that she wanted all children to understand that they can be friends with anyone they wanted to, and that's alright. Black or White...That's Alright is not only about the African American or European races, but every mixed race. We were created out of love and so our love should have no limits in spite of who people are, what they look like or where they come from. Big or small, short or tall...red or yellow, Black or White...That's Alright!
