You ever wonder how things really work in life. I never did, but the events of my life lead me without intending it to find out. As a child I had dyslexia and all I ever wanted to do was write. After trying every possible method of overcoming it known to man I unintentionally ran into the unconventional. The journey lead me into Taoism and world that perhaps many know about but very few really understand or have had the opportunity to experience first hand. In the beginning the process was as uncertain as it was unexpected. Life has a way taking on its own momentum and after a series of unexpected events I found myself studying in an informal temple. Many more years of unexpected, unforeseen and at times undisclosed experiences lead me to finally overcome dyslexia.Through the process I went trough the adventure of my life and discovered the workings of the mind at a level that few people have a chance to know. This book is the first of a series where I share my experiences during those years. I will take you through my very personal journey in the world of what I have come to call what lies beneath the surface. The book is written in narrative fiction to make it more readable, however it remains for the most part factual. There are few embellishments and most of the changes made are to the timeline flow of events or number of characters. These changes are intended not to alter the events of the story but to make the experience more pleasurable for the reader. Come a join we in a wonderful world of altered states of awareness and surprising feats of the mind and body. Fast moving, unpredictable and held together by realistic character it is very readable. Some of the experiences shared may seem a little fantastic in the beginning, but later on in the story they will make more sense.
