I have always led a charmed life, not always happy but blended with a spirit of curiosity and open to the possibility of adventure. These now ancient texts written over a half-century ago in my footloose twenties as I roamed the back alleys of Paris to Les Baux and the towns and villages of Sicily. These old texts remind me of my life as if it a different incarnation as new and fresh to me as I hope they will be to you. Can we relive a life that is seemingly gone? I do not know, but I smile at the possibility, and they also bring tears.
