The Thornless Rose is a full-length novel that poses the question if we are living up to the expectations of other people or trying to manage those expectations to who we already are. Paul Soer, a simple landscaper, is commissioned to build a fountain, which will be his masterpiece, for the two beautiful and secretive clients who challenge his perception of femininity and learn for themselves that he is also more than what he appears to be on the surface. "The Thornless Rose" is a timeless narrative with characters and settings that come to life through visceral story telling and dreamlike movements. It's a psychological romance touched with the paranormal but is as visually sharp as a white marble fountain being sculpted in a rose garden.
