When Julia, Tim`s wife dies of fright after seeing weird ghoulish apparitions in their new home, Church Cottage, Tim asks for help from the local police. When there are multiple unexplained deaths and all eff orts to obtain help are refused, Tim calls on his friend David Hartley, the vicar from the parish where he used to live. When things go wrong two higher ranking church members are sent to investigate the mysterious happenings at Church Cottage.
