A detailed study of lithic assemblages from eleven sites in south-west Morocco noted for their rich surface deposits. Following a general introduction to the Tarfaya coastal basin and its climate, environment and the methodology of the research, the lithic assemblage, issues of technology and typology are considered for each site, subsequently compared and contrasted in the final chapter.
