1995: For Roman, Phil and Madilyn it's a time to expand their lives and explore the future. Roman Farrells business success is thwarted. So are his finances. His extravagant wife is only partly to blame, as he is happy hopping from lover to lover until it all goes seriously wrong. His best friend, Madilyn, a divorced mother on a council estate, is determined to change her luck for the better, but something gets in the way and her life takes unexpected twists. Mechanic Phil is hell bent on finding out who fathered his sisters baby, promising retribution, while his friend Big Mac, an accountant, is keen to keep Phil firmly in touch with their shady dealings. But someone is watching and waiting. Someone who is hunting down The Loser and is intent on revenge. The New Forest Murderer comes into the suburbs. He has planned his payback meticulously and nothing will defy his purpose.
