Married to a Terrorist

The desert heat swirled around as I stepped off the airplane in Beirut. The heat should have made me sweat but I still couldn't stop shivering. Rome had been colder, but t hat wasn't why I felt so cold. No, I was here to get my children back from their father who'd kidnapped them and brought them here, halfway round the world.
