Review
Anne Cassidy Waters new novel, ' A Passage from Home' confirms the burgeoning talent of her first novel. She has wonderful storytelling technique, and the clever narrative style in this novel fully engages the reader and keeps them guessing right to the end. Anne champions the causes of poor rural Irish women who attempt to break the fetters of centuries of servitude. In 'A Passage from Home' we follow the travails of Mary, Beth, Eileen, and Anna as they strive to find their rightful places in an oftentimes alien world bereft of compassion. Fabulous read from a new emerging and necessary voice.
