Francis Doyle finds herself alone in the world, in need of a well-earned break from her work in London. She decides to make a long-held dream reality, and visit the land of her deceased father, Ireland.

With nothing much planned, Francis takes the Ferry across the Irish sea. A chance meeting sets in motion, life changing events. Without knowing, she becomes entangled in the case Michael Connor; an under-cover officer of the Garda, is working on.

A Romanian circle of criminals operating out of Europe, are under surveillance, around the quiet back waters, of the southern Irish coast.
