The periods in this book are from my birth under the shadow of Cross Fell in 1927, 'till my departure from England in 1977 as tax exile. About the Author Joey Swinbank-Slack, a retired farmer and landowner from Cumberland, North England, lived his life with a love of sports, travel, shooting, fishing, racing, and cigars.
