Jack Mears is down on his luck. A career criminal, wanted by the police in four countries, he's used to being in tight spots, but this time his prospects appear truly bleak. Stuck in a French town, waiting for a pay-off that looks ever less likely to get made, and with the cops closing in and the Russian underworld out for his blood, he'll do anything for a way out.
