After being raised by my mother within the walls of a retreat for domestic abuse victims, I am more than ready to spread my wings and experience all life can offer.

A perfectly timed job offer at Gallichan Manor gives me the excuse I was looking for to try living outside of the retreat. But a job isn't the only thing I find when I get to the manor.

My new boss's home is haunted with a ravenous ghost monster who is fixated on me, and it's not long before I'm willingly falling into his tentacles every chance I get.

But my darkly ever after seems suddenly out of reach when I'm kidnapped and held hostage. But I'm not as alone as my captor believes, as my ghost monster comes charging to the rescue.
