Broken Mask: My struggle to forgive

It is difficult for most people to believe that Broken Mask: My struggle to survive is a true story. It is even harder to believe that anybody could possibly survive the abuse Kristina Wetzel experienced in her youth, much less the tragedies of her adulthood. Hiding behind a thick rigid mask was her method of coping with her life. Kristina reveals that previous generations of her family had also ridden her merry-go-round of dysfunction. She knew of no other way to live than the circumstances into which she was born.
