Life of a church girl is the story of what it was like to be raised in the church but affected by the world. The notion of the world is that people in church are somehow immune to the bad things of this world. Marge is born in the 70's in Baltimore, Maryland and from her earliest memory she was in church. From a very early age she suffered several tragedies and losses that would scar her in her mind and body. At the age of 10 Marge was assaulted in her own home by a family member and this type of assault would continue for years and scar her even further. These events would push her into a lifestyle and down a road that would be filled with more heartache and depression. The more she searched for love the more she found loss. The more she tried to accomplish the more inadequate she felt. A mother at 16 and married at 17, Marge had no clue as to how to be a wife and mother. All she knew was men and sex went hand in hand and happiness was a fairy tale. Throughout it all if she knew nothing else she knew God and scripture.
