Life, What I Learned...

Millions of people all over the world sensed that in America was to be found the natural habitat for the human being; that her Founders must have discovered the right recipe for creating in her the most favorable circumstances where people could live and thrive in freedom; that America was a promise of hope to suffering humanity, a promise that she was keeping well. The author was one among those millions, a small lump of the huddled masses of the American poet's metaphor, born and raised thousands of miles away in a Country stymied by years of dictatorship.
