Come to the Mountain

The Scriptural term "mountain of God" traditionally refers to locations, such as Mount Sinai, which represent a place where people sought refuge in God's presence. The beauty of rest and peace in Him can be found as He draws us into His presence, just as He beckoned biblical heroes of old. His purpose in drawing us to Himself is always to knit our hearts with His. If we'll have the courage to respond when He calls, our lives will be forever changed. Deborah Stricklin is an author, Bible teacher, and credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God. She finds some of her greatest joy in challenging, inspiring, and equipping fellow believers to pursue their greater purpose in the Kingdom of God. Deborah and her husband, Jeff, have been serving their home church, Cornerstone Nashville, and their community for over 22 years.
