Margaret Mueller's childhood is anything but safe-but when a young priest at her school sends her away to summer camp, Margaret finds her tribe in three gregarious, fun-loving bunk mates: Olivia, Janine, and Cecily. Supported by her friends' affection, the newly unleashed, fiery Mags extracts the proper revenge on abusive parents as soon as she turns eighteen: a trust fund that will grow until her father dies. That, she tells them, will be incentive not to kill him. Freed by her settlement, Mags arrives in New York City to join her friends and begin a new life. Driven by equal parts anger and loyalty, she throws herself into acting, society cat fights, and reinventing herself wholesale. It's all about me, she thrillingly professes as she pursues her Fifth Avenue life and philanthropic endeavors. But she also falls into floundering, sometimes-violent, sometimes devastating attempts at love, and finds herself the target of a kidnapping ring. Mags must harness a deep-seated will to survive and decide what she really wants out of life: revenge or the creation of a "Mags" who is truly and finally happy. About THE ACCIDENTAL MURDERS SERIES: Neither the slings and arrows of their own misfortunes, nor the outrageous ones they aim at others can permanently damage the friendship among Olivia, Mags and Janine. The three are always in the right place at the wrong time when mayhem and murders happen and back each other up-in their own fashion.
