At the edge of the Sol system, just beyond the Kuiper Belt, Humanity's first foray into the Great Beyond is a space station called The Quay. Originally planned as a springboard for future missions, the station has now become home to a variety of alien races. A devastating war against a common, mysterious enemy left the space around the Quay littered with destroyed ships, but it brought the disparate races together in a way many thought impossible.
