In the aftermath of World War Two, a young Russell Wyatt became increasingly disheartened with his situation in England. Guided by his strong faith and an adventurous spirit, he boarded a ship for Africa, setting in motion a series of life experiences that few would describe as normal. He began his African life working for a well-respected pioneering family in Northern Rhodesia. Wasting little time, he won the hand of one of their beautiful and vivacious daughters, and he and Anne embarked on their life together. Their first farm was carved out of the African bush near the Copperbelt, and from that starting point Russell grew into an established farmer and a knowledgeable and highly respected cattle producer. This book is a memoir that navigates the changes along the way, the ups and downs of agricultural life in Africa, and the personal life experiences that shaped Russell and his family. Written in his eighty-ninth year, All the Days of My Life is a story about a man who spent 72 years of his life conscientiously and actively committing himself to a career of hard work. It's a story that illustrates the importance of God, love and commitment in creating enduring success and contentment. And it's the story of a man who at 60, when most are thinking about retiring, joined forces with a few like-minded people to embark on a most ambitious project.
