Delphine A. Brooks was born in Chicago and later became a mother of five and a grandmother of ten. She is the second of nine siblings; she is an aunt, niece, and friend. She came from a background of dysfunction and brokenness within the family unit, but God has been healing and giving her strength to endure the vicissitudes of life.
As a servant of God, He has commissioned her to inspire and encourage people through poetry and life experiences. She aspires to be an author that will make a positive difference and be a major influence to promote an effect change in the lives of the readers.
The story shared within the pages of this book were painful and hard to recall; however, Delphine pushed past the pain to share this personal testimony with you. It is her prayer that her personal testimony encourages families that have endured the same or similar situations may benefit from her story. Healing is available to all who learn to trust and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ.
