Cool-headed CIA operative Veronica Valencia looks forward to her next assignment. Locating handsome MI6 agent Robert Harroway and finding out everything there is to know about him. But from the very beginning, things slip sideways. Rather than compromising Harroway, she finds herself at his mercy. To further complicate matters, her father and hero, a high-ranking U.S. government official, is indicted for treason.

Robert Harroway is in hiding in the south of France when his sister goes missing. As he sets out to locate her, he comes face-to-face with Veronica. Intrigued by the CIA agent, but aware of her motives, Robert soon finds himself in a cat and mouse dance with the beautiful operative.

When it becomes apparent that the two have goals in common, they find it necessary to trust one another in a race against time to save those they love.
