Bridge Over Shifting Water: A Paranormal Women's Fiction Short

Things on the island are pretty grim, and Misty wears the pressure of saving Bridge House like an ugly dress. But the house is ignoring her pleas for help and her siren song has gone mute. There's only one thing left to do: get a fancy haircut and avoid her issues.

Between piecemeal construction attempts and a cafe with no customers, everyone is doing their part to keep the island afloat. Except Misty, who's beginning to feel like she'll be on hold forever. But as the inhabitants rally, she realizes the connection she covets is right in front of her.

The only way to embrace her legacy is to embrace herself, even if that means choosing between land and sea.

But can she make what feels like an impossible decision before she loses her connection to both worlds forever?
