Murder At The Old Fox Inn
$17.32
Honeymooners Barbara and Trent have no idea what awaits them at the Old Fox Inn. In a seemingly idyllic setting in the Kentucky woods, the Old Fox appears to be just the right secluded and romantic spot for them. But the staff of the Inn have their own secrets; and a ghostly legend comes to life when midnight falls. Once a popular fox hunting venue, the Inn still serves up plenty of action. In the 1840's a group of fox hunters went out one day and were never seen again. Since then a ghostly procession locals call the midnight hunt rides across the moonlit fields in front of the Inn. And when the midnight hunt rides, they say, someone will die. When Jack, one of the owners, has a suspicious accident his brother, co-owner Michael Dalton, asks the Trentons to stay on and help out during the busy fall season while Jack is recovering. The midnight hunt is seen and heard much too often. In fact Michael Dalton and the others at the Inn have come to the conclusion that it's all too human, with a frightening unknown agenda. Things are made more complicated when Michael, although married to Mary, devel ops an interest in his front desk clerk/dining room waitress, who is much younger. Added to Michael's problems is the fact that the nearby Pennyrile State Resort Park is trying to buy his land out from under him, and his brother Jack is all too eager to sell. Will someone really have to die? Who will it be?
