The acting bug bit John and Sheryl Meyers in the early 1970's as they became involved in local community and college theater and by early 1980 they briefly operated the 'theater' part of a melodrama dinner theater with their own company - Foiled Again Productions. Then, later in 1980, they mysteriously quit their perfectly good jobs as a Forest Service firefighter and county Deputy Tax Collector, as well as leaving local show business and 'hit the road' for a couple of years to see the country. Those couple of years stretched into six years of touring a two person melodrama and olio show around the western states. Home became wherever they parked their twenty foot travel trailer performing for anyone who would sit and listen and watch. It became their farewell to Plumas County and, as it turns out, pretty much farewell to their performing melodrama together. And now it's a story worth telling... at least they like to tell it... to anyone who will sit and listen... So this is their story.... and they're sticking to it.
