Cassie signed up for a writer's workshop in the mountains of Colorado to strengthen her skills, and learn how to turn her passion for writing into a career. She was looking to find a way to build herself a better future and finally escape her toxic job; a job that was making her already fragile mental health worse. She was hoping this workshop would be the first step in a brighter, more fulfilling future. She never expected to meet a man that only has eyes for her when everyone else is looking at him. Andy is at the writer's workshop to help him learn to write fiction. However, his focus is on the charming woman across the room. Unwilling to lose the opportunity to get to know her, Andy wastes no time showing Cassie just how great he thinks she is.
