In a universe populated by robots and immortals, 17 year old Lizbeth Owens was a fan of antiquity. She listened as ancient relics spoke to her, painted their visions, and sang their songs. Lizbeth's interest in the past set her apart from society. She was already a misfit within her family. They were gifted psychics of one skill or another - Lizbeth was not. Her lack of ability withered in the shadow of her great-grandfather, Zach Saxon. He was the greatest psychic who ever lived. Her Pappy Zach was the legend who saved humanity, cured the robots, healed the planet, anchored the cornerstone of their society, and instigated the union of humans and robots. Lizbeth was the President of the History Club. Lizbeth, and her robot friend Sherlock Holmes, turn history upside down while researching the cause of humanity's near extinction. Lizbeth's robot grandmother thought it would be a Pandora's Box, but it turned out to be a Rosetta Stone of hidden truth. And it was discovered just in time. Her Pappy Zach takes action to stifle an enigma that only his intuition recognizes as a threat. He trains a new group of psychics to thwart this menace and for some unknown reason, Lizbeth is selected to be part of the team. Zach finds an old foe on Mars who wants revenge. This old adversary becomes obsessed with killing Zach Saxon and will destroy the entire planet to do it. Luckily for Zach and Earth, they find an "imaginary friend" on Mars as well. This new friend joins forces with Zach's team to battle a common foe. So, what can a history geek contribute to an epic battle between planets? I suppose you'll have to read the story to find out.
