Quartz Casket

Desperately fleeing from a life without love, Daniel More, a young scientist questioning his very existence, sees his only escape from his misery in the form of suicide. Years of mental abuse from the people around him, and the mind of a genius, causes him to find a way to end his life with a bang, leading him away from Earth and hurdling directly into Jupiter's Great Red Spot to die. For reasons beyond his control, Daniel survives the crash and finds himself on another world face to face with creatures best seen in a nightmare, unspeakable things done to him that rival his original thoughts of suicide, plus a murderer as his guide. But for all the horrible problems that the new world holds, a deeper and darker secret awaits his personal attention, which just might teach him how valuable his life truly is, even though it may be far too late.
