This selection of poems by the author has been compiled for the purpose of providing readers with verses that range from the introspective, to the philosophical, to the romantic, and to various public and humanitarian concerns. As a whole, in this volume the author explores the meaning of life, its purpose, our relative place in the universe, and various aspects of the human condition. The author makes frequent use of archaic, esoteric, and neologistic terms. For that reason alone, wordsmiths will find this poetry of special interest. The styles of these poems vary from high levels of imagery, metaphor, and alliteration, and to both highly complex and simple, basic, straight forward narrative. Yet, with some exceptions, these poems are composed with minimal dependence on end rhyme. All are within the bounds of good taste and a gentle spirit.
