As a Type A wife of a patient man and three energetic, unique, and precocious children, I am the happy and sad, energetic and tired, confused and on-top-of-things poster child for motherhood. Mothers are the ultimate multi-taskers. We work, teach, doctor, chauffeur, feed, and love many people every single day of our lives. We do all of this with no expectation of payment or thanks. While I would love to say that, in spite of all this, all is sweetness and light, I must admit that many days are full of trials. Our daily choice is how we choose to deal with these trials.
