Fire in the Hands of the Children

Long time ago, back in the early 80's, there was a unique group of students at a unique Christian school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. These were ordinary students with nothing on their agenda but getting through with their daily school work, talking on the phone at home and being as social as they could. There were no cell phones, IPads, laptops, or their own personal televisions. These students in K5-grade 12 were not exposed to the inconsistencies of the world. They had come from many states for their parents to attend Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. Very few were local students. However, all parents were called into the ministry of the Lord Jesus, in one way or another. Their training would give them the credentials to be missionaries, church builders, pastors and a variety of other professions in the ministry. Thus, the reason that Kenneth Hagin Sr. started Rhema Bible Training Center. Now his daughter, Pat Hagin Harrison and her husband Buddy Harrison were called of God to open Faith Christian Fellowship, a family church in downtown Tulsa on Main St. This was in an old musty building that you would not think was a church, just looking at it from the outside. Once the church was established, they felt the need for a Christian Academy. After a period of time, the church and school moved to the north side of Tulsa. The school was re-established under stricter guidelines and rooted and grounded in prayer. Buddy Harrison made some Godly changes. Many grades of classes were changed into one. Therefore, after Christmas one year, my 18 students became 36 students. Then it happened! Slowly and reverently it happened. The Fire of the Holy Ghost hit Faith Christian Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma! Today, many of these students and parents still relive those earth-shaking moments and tell about it at the end of the book .....................................................
