A SEQUEL TO THE VERY POPULAR NOVELLA, "A MYSTERY IN LAGUNA WOODS." THIS IS AN; "CHARLIE O'BRIEN PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR MYSTERY NOVEL." Charles "Charlie" Warner Kennedy O'Brien is an Private Investigator, albeit, he prefers to be called a Private Eye for some unknown reason. He is Irish, of course with a name like that, and he just loves to celebrate St. Paddy's Day every year. He is old school and a 'Rat Pack' kind of Detective. Do you remember the famous Rat Pack made up of Francis 'Frank' Sinatra, funny man Dean Martin, the great Sammy Davis, Jr. and Peter Lawford? Our man Charlie investigates and then as quickly as possible, solves 'White Collar' crimes in the United States as well as throughout the globe. A lot of his cases involve crooked investment banker that are said to be "To big to Fail." Such as Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch [now owned by Bank of America, and the worst of the worst, Country Wide Funding in California. In this latest investigation Charlie 'returns' to the lovely and quite prestigious community of Laguna Woods Village [LWV] California. It is located in the OC [Orange County] about half way between the very big and bustling City of the Angles [Los Angeles] and the lovely and laid back City of San Diego. The FBI, OCSD [Orange County Sheriffs Department], the LWV Security Department, the OC District Attorney, VMS [Village Management Services], as well as GRF [Golden Rain Foundation] just hired Charlie to investigate sever heinous Cat-Burglaries of the wealthy Residents of the Village. The authorities told him that the expert although very naferious thieves have made off with several million dollars worth of gold and diamond timepieces, furs both real and 'faux', custom made jewelry made out of gold, silver, and platinum, and much more.
