The year is 1992, the year the IRA signed a ground-breaking peace agreement with the British government. Against this backdrop of a fragile peace in the making, Sebastian and his wife of six months, Nerida are embarking on a 'honeymoon' type holiday through Great Britain, prior to Sebastian collecting a substantial inheritance. Right from the moment they reach Heathrow, frightening and disturbing things begin to happen that suggest foul play at work.When one of their suitcases goes missing they discover it is one containing confidential documents pertaining to Sebastian's inheritance. From that moment on their journey becomes a nightmare of kidnapping, attempted murder, extortion and suspense as they travel the length and breadth of Great Britain, trying to evade their tormentors and find out why they are being exposed to such evil forces. Their journey eventually takes them across the English Channel to France where they come face-to-face with their attackers. Sebastian receives a revelation that is at once shocking and incomprehensible, causing him to question his own sanity and his desire to survive.
