Religious authorities, the common faithful and perhaps especially feminists are likely to be shocked and angered by Claudia Aboud's long poem, Perverse Verses. We follow the lives of four young women, and a host of succubi in Hell, as well as the Devil himself through pornographic acts including bondage, rape, bestiality and incest. Claudia Aboud was precociously-educated in the West at the universities of Salamanca, in Spain and Chicago, in the United States. Ms. Aboud is forty-seven.
