The Adventures of DJ Spoon and Missy is a novel of illustrated cartoons about a teenage disc jockey (Spoon) and his side-kick rottweiler dog, (Missy) who travel through various communities and neighborhoods that they visit; there is usually a situation that kids have a hard time solving or dealing with. His dog, Missy carries a saddle bag of records on her back, with records, songs and beats that her owner DJ Spoon summons, when it is time to solve the problem at hand. Once the problem is solved, then it it's on to the next community to help the kids there with a new problem.
