God hates divorce, But HE LOVES YOU AND ME MORE!I married my high school sweetheart. He was emotionally, verbally, physically, and sexually abusive which I had no clue about even after being married to him for years. He moved me far away from my family to be closer to his family aka his girlfriend. He kicked me out and moved his girlfriend in, and we divorced. Two years later he went for custody claiming I was unfit: drug addict, alcoholic, and many other terrible and UNTRUE things. He won custody. Our children were four and seven at the time. My heart was broken. I was devastated. I later learned that 70% of moms who don't have custody have a similar story as mine. The devastation and despair I have endured were all for a purpose. I believe that the purpose is this book. I believe this purpose has been something that will help others in similar situations as I have endured. I long to be the someone who tells you: I believe you! I get it! I know the pain, misery, shame, and judgment of others because I didn't have custody. But you need to know 1. I survived. 2. You can survive. 3. It is NOT YOUR FAULT! 4. You are not alone! 5. I care about you! I love you! And you are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made! (Psalms 139:14).
