With Elenora Bello's maternity leave soon coming to an end, the psychic social worker's worries go beyond putting baby Aubrey in daycare. Her daughter could be supernaturally gifted. There's a ghost hanging out in her kitchen. And the family cat might not be what he seems.

To top it all, Elenora foresees the gruesome death of a senior who perishes of spontaneous human combustion in a wealthy historical residence. The chief of police asks her to read the victim's ashes. And this time, not only does Elenora not have the urge to run, but a part of her actually feels compelled to get involved.
