Older Adults and Computers

The book focuses on older adult users of computer. The group is noteworthy in today's society due to its growing numbers and burgeoning economic strength. Literature paints the senior citizens as computer illiterates. However, the author believes that demographic factors like users' age, income, education, experience, gender, disability and computer ownership status can considerably thwart or alternatively, enhance older adults' possibilities to bond with computers via the phenomenon of computer-anxiety.
