Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: In den letzten Jahren hat sich der Fokus der betrieblichen Informationsverarbeitung von der Unterst?tzung operativer Gesch?ftsabl?ufe hin zu einer verst?rkten Unterst?tzung analyseorientierter T?tigkeiten verschoben. Eine zentrale Rolle spielen hierbei Data Warehouse basierte Informationssysteme. In dieser Arbeit geht es um den Einsatz eines solchen Systems f?r die Analyse von Unternehmenskonsolidierungsdaten eines international t?tigen Industrieunternehmens. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden die informationstechnischen und betriebswirtschaftlichen Grundlagen festgelegt sowie das Data Warehouse Produkt der SAP, SAP BUSINESS INFORMATION WAREHOUSE vorgestellt. Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit bildet die Modellierung multidimensionaler Strukturen. Im zweiten Teil werden die wesentlichen Aspekte der Modellierung auf den einzelnen Ebenen betrachtet. Besonderheiten ergeben sich hierbei aus dem Umfeld der Unternehmenskonsolidierung und aus der eingesetzten Data Warehouse L?sung SAP BUSINESS INFORMATION WAREHOUSE. Abstract: In the last years the main focus of company's information processing has moved from supporting operating processes towards supporting increasingly analytical activities. Data Warehouse based information systems play a decisive role in this context. This paper is about such a system for the analysis of business consolidation data of an internationally-active industrial company. In the first part of this paper the technical and business fundamentals are clarified as well as the Data Warehouse product of SAP, SAP BUSINESS INFORMATION WAREHOUSE is presented. In this paper the emphasis is on modelling multidimensional structures. In the second part the important aspects of modelling on each level are looked at. In this connection there are particularities of modelling due to the area of business consolidation and due to the Data warehouse solution used, SAP BUSINESS INFORMATION WAREHOUSE.
