Dithiocarbamate compounds are a class of organosulfur chemistry. They are half amides of dithiocarbonic acids, this type of compounds are used in wide range in the preparation of coordination compounds with most of transition and non-transition metal ion due to the presence of chelating atoms which are sulfur atoms[1]. This review presents a concise chemistry and some known biological potentials and consequently resulted in the synthesis of an array of medicinally useful of their metal dithiocarbamate complexes.
