This study is about "Study of the needs for the establishment of homes for the elderly in the health zone of Goma". This study used quantitative and qualitative data. The sample size was 141 elderly people in the age range of 65 to 84 years and older. Data were collected using a survey questionnaire administered to 141 elderly people. We also used an unstructured interview technique with an interview guide as a tool to facilitate the collection of qualitative information from three heads of households in the Goma health zone in order to test the hypotheses and arrive at the final results.
