Demolition of Buildings

The breaking down or falling of a building using machinery or explosives is referred to as demolition. This project report discusses how to conduct demolition work safely and the various measures that must be taken both before and during the operation. This demolition process involves soil testing and surveying. The Hazardous substances are removed. This process requires a plan, and Both steps are involved in the preventive safeguards measures to be taken. Sledge hammers, excavators, bulldozers, wrecking balls, and other demolition tools, and dynamite and RDX as explosives are widely used. In this, generally, some explosives are used during the process. In the literature, various demolition waste techniques for implementing good demolition practices have been reviewed. Preventive measures for machinery or structures, scaffolding, public safety, and worker safety are also included in the report. In this, some Popular demolition tools are used during the process, including hammers and rammers. One essential tool used is an excavator. The second important tool used for the demolition process is wrecking balls as well as explosives.
