Increased mutual knowledge, greater participation by the private sector, and improved engagement by representatives of the academic and governmental spheres in bilateral mechanisms are the paths indicated for balancing interests in increasing cooperation in S&T&I between Brazil and Japan, the realization of which could have a positive impact on Brazilian development.
