Theoretical and Practical Concepts of Dental Implants

The implant is an artificial tooth replacement that was nowadays considered a standard treatment for filling the gap. The tooth implant is a small screwdriver that sinks into the jawbone during surgery to boil the bone around and prepare the tooth's artificial crown. In fact, the implant base acts as a tooth root and a tooth coating as a tooth crown. The implant does not need to rely on the surrounding teeth and stays in the jawbone. Dental implants are made of titanium, but there are also zirconia dental implants. Titanium and Zirconia are substances that the body is compatible with and does not regard them as external attackers, so it does not react. Currently, the probability of successful dental implants is about 2 %, which is one of the most successful treatments. There are many books about implants. Many of these books are comprehensive and have useful classified information. The present book summarizes dental implants, their types, methods of failure, reasons for failure, care methods, and two Overdentures and Sinus Lift methods. In addition, an effort was made to avoid mentioning generalities and exaggerations, and most of the important things were mentioned in the book.
