The teaching of the course "History of classical Uzbek literature" should be regularly enriched with the latest advances in literary studies and methodological sciences. If this is not done, students' ideas about the history of classical literature will lag behind the development of literary science. In addition, future philologists may ignore effective didactic methods for teaching the acquired knowledge to the younger generation.
