The information society is developed from the perspective of transforming technological advances that modulate the relationships developed by humanity. Consequently, impacts were also experienced in the legal sphere, specifically in the operationalization of contractual relationships. Therefore, electronic contracts become part of business interactions and, especially, reach the scope of being operationalized in the metaverse. Thus, this environment that interconnects the physical and digital worlds, flowing between them and using resources to enable personalized experiences for users, becomes essential for the development of legal studies. In fact, considering that this environment has its own characteristics and may present weaknesses in the formalization of electronic contracts, the present study seeks to analyze these new contractual aspects. Therefore, the objective is to investigate how electronic contracts formalized in the metaverse can impact the capacity of the parties involved in the legal business.
