Sustainability in a health insurance company in Santa Maria - RS

The general objective of the research is to analyze the most relevant actions developed by the Project with regard to sustainability. It is relevant to the health insurance company, as it will enhance its image both inside and outside the organization. In terms of methodology, the project in question is classified as qualitative and quantitative in nature, exploratory and descriptive in nature in terms of objectives, and was carried out through a case study. Initially, a bibliographical survey was carried out, along with visits to the company in order to get to know its working methods and analyze the sustainable actions developed by the company during the process. Questionnaires were drawn up and distributed to the project's employees. It can be seen that the company is on the right track in terms of considering the environmental variable as part of its organizational activities. In this way, the sustainable actions developed by the Project meet the real needs of the environment, but they should be shared more with the company's other employees, as well as with the general administration and the local community.
