In Mali, the Centre National d'Appareillage Orthop?dique du Mali (CNAOM) provides specialized orthopedic and rehabilitation services. It also specializes in the design and promotion of appliances and technical aids for disabled people.Objective: To assess physical and chemical hazards in orthopedic appliance manufacturing workshops.Methodology: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study running from August 1 to August 31, 2020. All orthoprosthetists working in production workshops were included. Technical visits to the premises and a multi-part questionnaire (socio-demographic aspects, working conditions, etc.) were carried out. Data were collected in production areas for environmental metrology (noise, ambient temperature, dust, light).
